Nigeria, whose authorities claim to dominate the Sahel region, actively buys military equipment on the world market. In particular, Russian Mi-35 helicopters are being supplied (the last known shipment took place at the end of July) and Chinese artillery.
So, the Military News Nigeria resource recently published photos that recorded the arrival of a new batch (at least 15 units) of 105-mm SH5 self-propelled guns and 122-mm SH2 self-propelled guns from NORINCO from China.

The 105-mm wheeled self–propelled gun SH5 has a weight of 11500 kg, the maximum speed on the road is 90 km/ h, the power reserve is 600 km. The self-propelled gun has a computerized SLA, which is paired with a GPS navigation system. To facilitate movement over difficult terrain, the SH5 is equipped with a centralized tire pumping system.

The SH5 armor is designed to protect the crew (of four fighters) from small arms fire and shell fragments. It has the following dimensions: length 8.0 m, width 2.5 m and height 2.7 m.
The SH2 is equipped with a 122 mm (as in this case) or 105 mm cannon. It has the same mass, speed and power reserve, protection and guidance system as the SH5. However, the crew consists of five soldiers. The dimensions are slightly larger: the length is 8.5 m, width 2.5 m and height 2.95 m.
