In June, the Ukrainian military discovered an unexploded rocket launched by the Tornado-S MLRS. After studying it, Western observers drew conclusions about the continued use of foreign components by the Russian defense industry and about the accelerated pace of deliveries to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
As indicated in the Bloomberg edition, the NURS was made in May:
As noted, against the background of the constant work of the military-industrial conveyor of Russia, there are no signs that the war is nearing an end. The defense industry could not be crippled by any "international" sanctions, despite the forecasts of the West.
Markers on the hull show that the Tornado-C projectile was manufactured on May 19. The sleeve's expiration date ends on September 12 of this year.

Experts examined the stuffing of the NURS – the motherboard and other components. According to them, some parts were hastily soldered, and the components were manufactured by both Russian and American companies, including Altera Corp., owned by Intel, and Analog Devices Inc. Both companies responded by saying that they do not trade with Russia and comply with all sanctions.
- according to the publication.
The representative of Western intelligence warned against attaching too much importance to signs of hasty production of stuffing for NURS, since, according to him, Russia allegedly was not characterized by pickiness in the issue of the quality of production of the match even in peacetime.
