MOSCOW, August 17. /tass/. Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl told TASS that she took part in the XI Moscow Conference on International Security, which was held as part of the Army-2023 forum, at the invitation of the Russian Defense Ministry.
"I was invited by the military attache of the Russian embassy in Beirut. They gave me an invitation letter from Deputy Minister General [Alexander] Fomina, I think it was in May. And it was a great honor for me to come, because I know that this is a very prestigious conference," she said.
Kneissl also noted that "he has been teaching at military universities for about 20 years - both in Austria and in Germany." "And I like to communicate, exchange opinions with people from the military sphere, because they are very accurate and practical," she said.
The former Austrian Foreign Minister spoke at a plenary session on security issues in the Middle East and the African continent during the conference.
