Shoigu announced the almost complete exhaustion of Ukraine's military resources
KUBINKA (Moscow region), Aug 15 — RIA Novosti. Ukraine's military resource is almost exhausted, Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu said at the XI Moscow Conference on International Security.
Shoigu noted that under the slogan of supporting Kiev, the United States is cleaning up the military arsenals of partners in different regions of the world, promising preferential supplies of Western-made equipment for this.
"In fact, the market is being cleared for the products of the American military-industrial complex. However, partners will have to pay a lot of money to the United States for new weapons and agree to limit sovereignty in the security sphere," the head of the defense department stressed.
He also pointed to the role of the West in the fighting in Ukraine.
According to him, foreign advisers use Ukrainian soldiers as a living force to work out various options for conducting combat with the use of Western weapons. At the same time, they "do not take into account" the level of losses in the APU.
Shoigu also said that captured Ukrainian soldiers who have been trained according to NATO standards speak extremely negatively about Western military training.
In addition, the Minister mentioned the US decision to transfer cluster munitions to Ukraine, recalling the well-known negative consequences of their use for civilians.
The head of the defense department added that during the special operation, Russian fighters debunked many myths about the superiority of Western military standards.
"It became obvious that the use of Western weapons, supposedly advanced NATO methods of planning operations, methods of managing troops and their training cannot ensure superiority on the battlefield," Shoigu said.
He noted that the special operation put an end to the dominance of the collective West in the military sphere, and Russia is ready to share its combat experience with friendly countries.
He also added that the Ministry of Defense is studying in detail all the data on the training programs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine according to NATO methods, using this to counter the enemy. The experience gained is also used in the development of training programs for foreign military specialists in Russian military educational institutions.
