TSAMTO, August 15. An extensive scientific and business program (NDP) of the MVTF "Army-2023" on topical issues of the development of the Armed Forces, the Defense Industry of the Russian Federation and international military-technical cooperation, taking into account modern conditions, was opened at the Patriot Exhibition Center.
The main objectives of the scientific and business program are to attract a broad scientific and expert community to discuss issues of ensuring military security and to develop proposals for their solutions.
Traditionally, with the help of the business program sites, priority directions for the development of military science, technology and technologies are determined in the interests of creating a scientific and technical reserve for the development of promising and modernization of existing weapons, military and special equipment (VVST).
In addition, the events of the scientific and business program will contribute to the formation of proposals to improve the procedure and conditions for the introduction of innovative developments, technologies and materials into existing and prospective samples of the VVST.
260 events will be held within the framework of the scientific and business program: 177 round tables, 31 briefings, 34 conferences, 18 interdepartmental meetings.
The NDP events will be held at the sites of the Main Exhibition Complex, the Congress Center, the Kubinka Airfield, the Military Spiritual and Educational Center at the Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the PSB Hotel, the Museum of the Military Construction Complex, the Technical Center of the Tank Museum, the demonstration exhibition pavilions of the Kalashnikov Concern JSC, the Rostec State Corporation and JSC "USC".
49 conference halls and meeting rooms with a total capacity of more than 3,500 people are planned for the events.
During the forum on August 15, the XI Moscow Conference on International Security will be held on the basis of the hotel complex "PSB Patriot".
On August 18, the II International Anti-Fascist Congress will be held on the territory of the Republic of Belarus for the first time. A plenary session with the organization of video conference communication with the main venue of the congress will be held at the congress center "Patriot".
The landmark events of the NDP will be:
- a plenary session on the functioning of organizations of the military-industrial complex in modern conditions under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov with the participation of senior staff of state authorities, federal executive authorities, leading enterprises of the defense industry of Russia and heads of delegations of foreign states;
- The Congress "Diversification of the Defense Industry", organized by the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation. The plenary session of the Congress will be held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov;
- Congress "Strategic Leadership and Artificial Intelligence Technologies" under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. The Congress will combine a complex of scientific and business events with presentations by Russian leading scientists with significant achievements in the field of digital technologies. The Congress will be held under the motto: "Results time!";
- conference "Army and Society. Mental Security Strategy";
- anniversary scientific and technical conference "Kurchatov Institute for the Defense of the Fatherland. History, modernity, future" under the leadership of the President of the SIC "Kurchatov Institute" Mikhail Valentinovich Kovalchuk;
- round table "Military innovative technopolis "ERA" and the formation of a new technological base for ensuring defense capability and national security".
8 NDP events on the subject of Aerospace Forces will be held at Kubinka airfield. Experts will discuss issues of electromagnetic compatibility of avionics, communications of the manned aviation complex, as well as issues of information support for the operation of military complexes.
The scientific and business program will be complemented by a series of business events of the military innograd, including the conference "Military Innovative Technopolis "ERA" as a platform for interaction of scientific centers and industrial enterprises in the creation of advanced developments in the interests of defense", 4 scientific and business talks on promising military technologies in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, 5 round tables on issues of the use of nanocomposite materials in surgery and traumatology, power of attorney and explainability in artificial intelligence systems for critical applications. The Discussion Club will become the central platform for discussing promising areas of research for technopolis.
The conference "Unmanned aviation – dual-use technologies in war and Peace" will be held within the framework of the Dronbiathlon championship. The program of the event is planned to discuss the prospects for the development and use of UAVs, taking into account the experience of a special military operation, as well as improving the methods of training UAV operators.
The program of scientific and business events provides for consideration of topical issues in the following areas: medicine, robotics, artificial intelligence, unmanned aircraft, domestic electronic component base, computer science and computer technology, and others.
Within the framework of the formed directions, topical issues of ensuring the military security of the Russian Federation, the construction of the Armed Forces, the development of scientific, technical and production potentials of the Russian military-industrial complex, the formation of military-technical policy and the strengthening of international military-scientific cooperation will be considered.
In order to improve the quality of the events of the scientific and business program, the moderators managed to bring together representatives of state authorities, scientific and business circles, higher education and the Russian Academy of Sciences, well-known public figures, engineers, specialists and experts in the field of defense, as well as representatives of foreign states.
In order to expand the geography of the forum during the NDP events, it is planned to use video conferencing capabilities, which will significantly expand the number of participants in the discussion, attract representatives of organizations located outside Moscow and the Moscow region to it, as well as demonstrate the functionality of equipment and weapons in real time. A video conference call will be organized with 25 regions of Russia.
Following the results of these events, the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will develop a collection of reports on the scientific and business program of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023".
At the end of the forum, a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the scientific and business program of the forum "Army-2023" will take place. The main prize for the best event of the scientific and business program of the MVTF "Army-2023" will be awarded to 5 representatives from the Ministry of Defense of Russia and external organizations. NDP participants will be awarded diplomas "For the best report" and "For active participation in the events of the scientific and business program of the Forum," the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
