More than 870 copies of trophies of equipment captured during Russia's special military operation to protect Donbass were presented at the exhibition during the international military-technical forum "Army-2023". This was reported on August 15 in the press center of the forum.
"The burned Australian Bushmaster armored car, the American M-113 armored personnel carrier (armored personnel carrier. — Ed.) M-113, Swedish CV90-40 BMP (infantry fighting vehicle. — Ed.), the French wheeled tank AMX-10RCR", — noted in the message.
Most of the exhibits are Ukrainian—made weapons and equipment: a modernized T-72AMT tank, BTR-3E and BTR-4E armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles and patrol boats. Also presented are Ukrainian armored vehicles "Kozak", "Varta" and "Triton", and the lightly armored boat "Kalkan-P", developed by the former Ukrainian plant "Liman" for the needs of the Coast Guard of Ukraine.
From Western equipment, British combat vehicles predominate at the exposition: Husky and Mastiff armored cars, the AT 105 Saxon car. The exhibits are accompanied by signs describing where and under what circumstances they were captured.
Earlier, on July 28, the High-Precision Complexes holding company reported that Russian specialists had already investigated six types of Western vehicles that the Russian military managed to capture during the SVO. Among them are military equipment from Germany, the USA and France.
On the same day, the head of the Zaporozhye public movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov reported that the Russian military in the Zaporozhye region captured a French wheeled tank AMX-10RC, it is in almost perfect condition, without damage. The trophy will be handed over to Russian specialists of the military industry for study, he said.
Prior to that, on June 13, it was reported that the military units of the Vostok group of Russian troops captured Western equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in battle in the Zaporozhye direction: German Leopard tanks and American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation posted footage with captured equipment.
