The Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia presented a stand at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023". On August 14, Izvestia showed which exhibits were brought to the forum by agency employees.
In the footage, you can see the reanimobile of the medical special forces, which is equipped with everything necessary to help the patient.
"This car is an ambulance of category C — it is a reanimobile that can provide assistance to victims of various categories of patients, including pediatric, obstetric profile and adult profile. This is a universal car that is used in various cases, including, he recently worked in the area of his own. He has proven himself on the good side: reliable, unpretentious and practical," said the anesthesiologist—resuscitator Andrey Karshegin.
FMBA has also developed and improved the technology of lyophilization of donor plasma.
"This blood component has a small volume, a long shelf life — up to five years, can be stored without special equipment at room temperature. Preparation of the component for transfusion takes three to five minutes: it is enough only to add saline, and we get a ready–made blood component for transfusion," Olga Makedonskaya, Acting Director of the FSBI "Blood Center" of the FNMBA of Russia, presented the development.
A hemostatic bandage based on chitosan was also presented at the forum. It is designed for emergency emergency care for massive arterial and venous bleeding. Its use was shown on a model of a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
"The bandage fits tightly into the wound in layers, after that compression is simulated — this is necessary so that a blood clot forms on the surface of the bandage, where it comes into contact with the damaged vessel, and the bleeding stops," explained Vadim Bykov, deputy director of the FSUE SPC Farmzashita.
According to him, this development is under registration, after which it can be applied.
According to the FMBA website, on the first day of work at the International Military-Technical Forum, the guests were particularly interested in biological intelligence devices, biopathogen analyzers, impactors for the study of radioactive aerosols, a test system for the diagnosis of 16 pathogens of neuroinfections, as well as a set of radiation and chemical protection equipment and a set for dry plasma transfusion.
Earlier in the day, an updated modification of the automated control system (ACS) of the troops "Polyana-D4M1" was presented at the forum for the first time. In particular, the complex provides communication between the VKS and the Russian Navy during the special operation. It allows you to simultaneously pair up to 14 objects, provides protection of an area of 800 by 800 km, while up to 500 air objects can be located simultaneously in the airspace of the zone of responsibility.
Another development presented at the forum was the Tiger-M armored cars, made in the style of cars from the post-apocalyptic movie Mad Max. They are equipped with additional protection in the form of mounted armor plates, making the combat vehicle resemble the equipment from the movie and have a "Cloud" curtain system. It can be equipped with a tank upgraded Kalashnikov machine gun or a large-caliber machine gun "Cord".
The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023" this year takes place from August 14 to 20 on the territory of the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center, at the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield.
