The Turkish company TUSAŞ, working in the aerospace industry, has achieved a new export success by supplying Chad with both HÜRKUŞ aircraft and ANKA attack drones.
According to the previously reached agreements, a total of 3 HÜRKUŞ TCB and 2 ANKA UAVs were transferred to Chad, along with MAM-L and MAM-C missiles developed by ROKETSAN.
HÜRKUŞ is a two–seat single-engine turboprop aircraft positioned by the developer as a basic training vehicle and light attack aircraft. He made his first flight in 2013 and since then has managed to get into service with Turkey, Niger, Libya, and now Chad.
The maximum flight speed of HÜRKUŞ is 574 km/h, altitude – 10577 m, range – 1140 km, landing distance – 593 m.
