According to Mordvichev, the Ukrainian military abandoned an armored car, which failed after their RPG-7 hit it, on the battlefield. At the same time, the commander of the Center group of troops noted that Sweden supplied Kiev with the BMP data without tools and a repair kit, which does not allow the enemy to quickly fix problems that arose directly on the spot.
In addition, according to the Lieutenant General, the BMP, which entered service with the Swedish army in 1993, has a number of serious shortcomings.
Firstly, according to the military, she has low survivability due to her high silhouette. Secondly, the CV-90 BMP is not equipped with guided weapons, and the rate of fire from the standard (40-mm rifled gun "Bofors" L70) is very low.
As Mordvichev explained, the shooting is carried out by three magazines of 8 shells. Then it is necessary to recharge, which can take about a minute on average.
