In the German port of Bremerhaven, American military vehicles have been spotted, stylized as equipment used in the Russian army. This is reported on the Defense Blog resource.
The appearance of these machines on the equipment of the US troops drew attention back in December last year. On the territory of the United States, the presence of the M1126 Stryker was recorded, visually similar to the prototype of the Russian armored personnel carrier BTR-87; BA HMMWV, simulating the Tiger GAS.
Such vehicles were received in 2022 by the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment of the US Army to increase the authenticity of the exercises conducted, during which soldiers improve the perception of a potential enemy's equipment.
Simulating enemy machines allow for more effective training, for example, reconnaissance and elimination of targets. Fighters, after getting to know them, better distinguish the equipment of their army from someone else's. It also makes it possible to more effectively recognize various cars from the tablet or monitor screen, including determining what is depicted in the picture – the real target or its dummy.

As can be assumed, imitators of Russian equipment were transferred to Europe to train Ukrainian soldiers. The APU, against the background of significant losses at the front, will sooner or later completely switch to Western models, and therefore recruits will have to personally familiarize themselves with the models available in the Russian army.
