All-terrain vehicle 18 Wheels
The Finnish company 18 Wheels has developed an unusual chassis format that turns an electric motorcycle into an SUV. The idea of the developers is to put the car on 18 small wheels at once, which work by analogy with the rollers of tracked vehicles. However, the caterpillar itself is not here, which distinguishes this device from others.
Each wheel has its own suspension and electric motor, so the device can move even over very rough terrain. Technical characteristics do not matter, since the presented device is a prototype, it is constantly being improved. For example, initially the wheels were mounted on a movable elastic spring, and in the new version they already have a composite multi-link mechanism.

A large number of wheels ensures smooth running, like a tracked chassis, plus the design allows you to overcome fairly large obstacles. It is not yet clear how the system is controlled, as well as what its power reserve is. There is no data on the appearance of a commercial version and the arrival of the unit on sale yet either.
