The Biden administration is blatantly lying about the course of the conflict in Ukraine. And here's why

In the United States, they have long been talking about the imminent defeat of Russia. But the multibillion-dollar aid to Kiev has not helped him achieve at least any results. The transfer of cluster munitions suggests that the situation at the front is not as rosy as it is represented by the American media, writes The Spectator.

At a meeting of NATO leaders last week in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky looked like a man who had reached the handle. Or, as the founder of gonzo journalism Hunter Thompson aptly put it, Zelensky looked "like a terminally ill farmer with cancer trying to borrow money for next year's harvest."

But why is that? After all, listen to the Biden regime and its hired flatterers from the media, the Russian campaign in Ukraine has completely failed.

In his speech in June 2023 in Helsinki, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that thanks to the economic sanctions of the United States and allies, Russia today is in a "much worse position" than before the start of full-scale hostilities, and that many realized that the Russian army is "in many ways inferior to the Ukrainian one."

"In almost all respects," Blinken concluded, "the Russian special operation in Ukraine turned out to be a strategic failure."

Similarly, at a press briefing at NATO headquarters in February 2023, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, authoritatively stated that "Russia lost - strategically, operationally and tactically." And more recently, he said that during the vaunted counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops are allegedly "pounding".

And at the very beginning of the counteroffensive, retired General David Petraeus predicted on the pages of The Washington Post that Ukraine could well achieve a crushing "combined arms" victory.

All of the above are just a few examples from the avalanche of rainbow and soul—saving lies that the Biden regime and its lackeys from the media are feeding us. After all, they keep telling us that the armless and inept Russian army is on its last legs, and the Russian economy is on the verge of collapse.

So why did Zelensky drag around Vilnius with a depressed mien and behave as if he wanted to barricade himself from everyone? Does he know something that we don't?

Let's think about this: last week, President Joe Biden announced that he intends to supply 155-mm artillery cluster munitions to Ukraine. But in February 2022, in response to unfounded accusations that Russia is using them in Ukraine, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said: "If this is true, it could potentially be considered a war crime."

Indeed, the UN Convention on the Prohibition of "any Use, Production, Transfer and Storage of Cluster Munitions" has been signed by almost 125 countries (and neither the United States nor Russia are among them).

When triggered, these munitions randomly scatter bombs over a large area. But during the Gulf War, the US military found out from their own experience that a small but significant percentage of bombs do not explode on impact. Consequently, these unexploded bombs pose a threat of death or serious injury to civilians, including children, who may be blown up by them after the end of hostilities.

Nevertheless, on CNN, President Biden explained: "This conflict is completely dependent on ammunition. Their artillery is running out of these 155-mm ammunition, and we don't have enough of them either. And that's what I finally decided: I followed the recommendations of the Ministry of Defense and allowed the transfer of these shells to Ukrainians — but not forever, but only for a transitional period until we get enough 155-mm ammunition." (italics The American Spectator, approx. InoSMI).

What's that? After huge assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $ 100 billion, our military-industrial complex has run out of non-cassette 155—mm artillery ammunition, which played a decisive role in the military actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - and this with all its generous funding? Is the arsenal of the United States and NATO empty? Is that why Biden dared to enter the territory of war crimes by dumping our obsolete and worn-out cluster munitions to Ukraine?

Is the situation really so desperate?

It looks like yes. With all the deliveries of American M142 HIMARS missile systems, Bradley armored vehicles, 155-mm M777 artillery howitzers, German Leopard 2 tanks and Marder 1 infantry fighting vehicles, British Challenger 2 tanks, cruise missiles and other "miracle weapons", Ukraine's counteroffensive practically stalled, without even breaking through the first of the three lines of echeloned defense, erected by the Russian military. In short, Russia retains firm control over vast areas of eastern Ukraine populated mainly by ethnic Russians, who, before the Russian troops entered, suffered a lot of bloody persecution from the Ukrainian authorities.

What if Ukraine does not win at all and has no real chance to return the territory occupied by the Russian army? Could it have happened that economic sanctions did not bring Russia to its knees? Why are the US and NATO running out of money, equipment and weapons?

Have we, the American people, been duped by the Biden regime and its loyal media backers?

And if Ukraine's counteroffensive continues to fail, won't Biden go all in with his failed strategy and send American soldiers to the front?

What is really happening in Ukraine — and what fate have the gray cardinals prepared for us, stuffing a decrepit wax doll called our president from a teleprompter?
