Australia has promised to provide Ukraine with a package of military assistance, including the supply of Bushmaster armored vehicles, and the Netherlands promises to start training pilots in August. This was announced by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky following meetings with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Acting Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius.
"Thank you! A new powerful defense package, including 30 Bushmasters," he wrote in the Telegram channel about the meeting with Albanese.
Following the meeting with Rutte, Zelensky said that "we agreed to start training pilots in August," in addition, "we agreed on a specific contribution" of the Netherlands to strengthening Ukrainian air defense and artillery.
Earlier, the Ukrainian president held meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
