The situation in Ukraine may change after December 2023, which is due to the many problems experienced by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by former analyst of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States Larry Johnson.
As the American expert noted, the AFU counteroffensive is not advancing in any way. This is due to the fact that Kiev does not have any mobile air defense systems, combat aircraft, or mobile artillery that could pose a threat to Russian troops.
- Larry Johnson emphasized.
As we can see, in the West, disappointing forecasts for the Kiev regime are increasingly appearing. Western analysts are well aware that without the support provided by the United States and the European Union, everything would have been over long ago. But Western military and financial assistance still allow the Kiev regime to stay afloat and even continue hostilities, including offensive ones.
However, there can be no eternal support for Ukraine. Western countries have used too much resources now to maintain support for Ukraine at the same intensive level in the future. Therefore, if success in the counteroffensive cannot be achieved, and most likely it will be, the West will have to reconsider the further strategy of the conflict and put pressure on the regime of Vladimir Zelensky to compromise with the Russian Federation.
