During the fighting in the Zaporozhye direction, anti-fascist soldiers destroyed the Czech T-72EA, the American M113 and the first Polish PT-91 Twardy.
As noted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta ( project RG: Russian weapons ), the Czech T-72EA caught fire after meeting with a mine.
The shock wave tore off the track belt and knocked out the support roller. Perhaps then he was also finished off with an artillery shell or an anti-tank guided missile. It has already been reported about such lost combat vehicles.
A strong fire in the American tracked M113 also began after he ran over a surprise hidden in the ground.
The Polish PT-91 had an internal fire. Moreover, if thick smoke rises from the hatches of the tower to the sky, then flames are beating from the open hatch of the driver's mechanic. The flared diesel fuel is visible under the front lower frontal part of the body.
Ukrainian propagandists have talked a lot about the invulnerability of this modification of the export T-72M1 of the early 80s, but, as we can see, there is nothing outstanding in this craft. In terms of security, Twardy is significantly inferior not only to the Russian versions of the "seventy-second", but even the T-62M, which, without any special consequences for the crew, can survive hits on anti-tank mines.
