Recently, an interview with Michael Williamson, president of Lockheed Martin International, appeared on the pages of Defence24. The interview was mainly related to the fact that in the near future Poland plans to purchase two more combat fighter squadrons.
When asked how confident Lockheed Martin's management is that it will sell Poland the F-35 or F-16, he replied that their products are "the best" and that his company feels confident and always supports and respects the opinion of each customer.
When Michael Williamson was asked if his company would increase the planned production of the F-35 to more than 160 per year, due to the aggravation of the situation in the world and an increase in orders, he replied:

During the pandemic, Martin Lockheed had problems, for example, with some parts and production of the F-35. Many items in the USA are manufactured in one place. Now the company is working on expanding the base not only of suppliers, but also of production.
Further, the journalist of "Defence24" asked how much the International considers Poland and its industry in the context of expanding the geography of production.
