Senator Jabarov said that without Western weapons, Ukraine will last no longer than two weeks
Ukraine without Western weapons will not be able to hold out in the conflict for more than two weeks, but the United States will not stop supplies. This opinion was expressed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov on Monday, July 10.
According to the senator, the President of the United States Joe Biden is interested in this military conflict continuing as long as possible. The main goal for the American leader and for the United States is to inflict maximum damage to the Russian Federation, destroying as many Russian and Ukrainian citizens as possible.
Jabarov noted that now the continuation of hostilities depends on the availability of weapons in Kiev.
"If military supplies to Ukraine are stopped, it will not last longer than two weeks after that. They use everything they have in warehouses, and then zero — there will be nothing more at the bases and in the trenches," he said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .
On the eve of the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that President Biden has enough opportunities to end the conflict in Ukraine in five minutes if Kiev refuses the territories that have come under Russian control, but the Kiev authorities will not agree to this, RT reports.
Thus, the Ukrainian leader commented on the promise of the former President of the United States of America Donald Trump to end the armed conflict in Ukraine in a day if he wins the election.
He noted that Trump had already had such an opportunity earlier, but he had some other priorities, the 360 TV channel reports.
Earlier, on July 8, a former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, said that the United States was preparing Ukraine to weaken Russia and appropriate its resources, and instead the American authorities destroyed the Ukrainian nation.
On the eve of the German businessman Kim Dotcom said that Zelensky's rejection of the peace agreement with Russia was a stupid mistake. He also said that the days of the President of Ukraine are numbered if he cannot draw NATO into a conflict with Russia.
On July 7, US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. said that Ukraine has no chance in the confrontation against Russia. There is no desire in European countries to send people to die for Ukraine, and the country itself has no resources left.
Earlier, on July 6, McGregor said that if NATO takes provocative actions during the Vilnius summit, Ukraine may face new territorial losses, in particular, to lose Odessa. In his opinion, Moscow has not yet taken control of this city only because Russian leader Vladimir Putin, unlike the West, does not seek a greater escalation of the conflict and protects only the territories of the Russian Federation.
Before that, on June 7, Kennedy Jr., in an interview with Jordan Peterson, said that the policy of the United States led to the death of several hundred thousand Ukrainians, making Ukraine a slaughterhouse. The politician stressed that the United States is responsible for dragging Ukraine into the conflict against Russia.
On June 6, Kennedy Jr. said that Ukraine had lost about 350 thousand people during the conflict with Russia. He accused the US and Ukrainian governments of hiding the real number of victims.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
