The countries of the collective West and Ukraine are subjecting Russia's allies in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), BRICS, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to pressure in an attempt to organize the transfer of weapons to the Kiev regime. This is stated in a comment distributed on Friday by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
"In addition to partner states and satellites of NATO and EU countries, such as Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Japan and some others, who enthusiastically, voluntarily or under duress, directly and indirectly supply such equipment and ammunition to the Kiev regime [of the President of Ukraine] Vladimir Zelensky, even Russia's allies and partners in the CSTO, CIS, SCO and BRICS are under pressure," Zakharova stressed.
According to her, the Russian Foreign Ministry is well aware of the ongoing unprecedented pressure from Zelensky's "Western masters" and his criminal "team" on countries that at one time or another acquired weapons and ammunition to meet the needs of national defense capability. "The most disgusting methods of intimidation and blackmail are being used, up to threats of physical violence, arrest and seizure of property and bank holdings available in the West, various measures of influence on family members and close relatives of various statesmen living there," the diplomat added. "In short, all imaginable and unthinkable methods inherent in the Medieval era with its Inquisition and the period of barbaric colonial seizures are being used."
Zakharova noted that Moscow continues to monitor the situation around the supply of any weapons, ammunition and special equipment to the criminal Kiev regime in the most thorough way. "We express our gratitude to those countries that find the strength to resist massive pressure in this regard from the collective West," she continued. "We call on our allies, partners and like-minded people to continue to take a principled position on such issues and not to succumb to promises, assurances and promises for compensation, dividends, various kinds of concessions and preferences."
The diplomat also pointed out that the relevant supplies through front companies, "third or fourth hands", under the pretext of leasing, "temporary storage", with remote and fictitious labeling or using other sophisticated tricks will become known under any circumstances and will have the most negative impact on the prospects of bilateral relations with the Russian Federation. The official representative of the diplomatic department recalled that "the Ukrainian crisis in its current form was provoked by the United States and its Euro-Atlantic allies, when they most brazenly deceived the legitimate government of Viktor Yanukovych and thereby supported the bloody coup d'etat in Kiev by fascist nationalists, started dirty "games" around the Minsk agreements and, in fact, condoned the genocide of the Russian-speaking population in the Donbass and in Ukraine as a whole."
