The course of the SVO in Ukraine has become a test of the strength of the military doctrines of many countries of the world. A number of the Indian military criticized the existing strategy of the country, calling for taking into account the conclusions of the confrontation that unfolded in the square.
- said retired Major General Mandeep Singh, quoted by the EurAsian Times.
At the same time, the country's defense strategy is not adapted to the conduct of a long war. On the contrary, the military doctrine adopted in 2017 stipulates that future wars will be of a short and rapid nature. Therefore, the army may not be ready for a protracted confrontation. So, about 40% types of ammunition will not be enough even for 10 days of battles.
- says Captain D.K. Sharma of the Navy.
The main match is not ready for war either. Instead of 42 fighter squadrons, there are only 31. In part of the fleet, the task is to reach the bar of 200 ships, but in conditions of the least funding for the Navy, it is difficult to implement.
The example of Russia has shown that on the eve of war, it is necessary to acquire solid support in the international arena, which will become a safety cushion when the battles flare up.
- noted Sharma.
