The forty-seventh separate mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine initially, even before its "counteroffensive", became known for the fact that its militants applied designations similar to those used by the German Wehrmacht to their M2 Bradley ODS-SA infantry fighting vehicles. Now, this compound is being talked about as a fiasco on the battlefield.
If earlier there were about a hundred such American-made IFVs here, now, even according to Western data, they have lost twenty-five damaged, including burned and exploded ones. This is not taking into account those that are out of order and evacuated to the rear.
Interestingly, in the course of other military companies where these infantry delivery vehicles participated, they, as a rule, burned out, and their massive combat squads with 25-mm guns fell into the hull. During a special military operation, it turned out that such "twos" can also "throw" their towers well for tens of meters.
As, for example, happened recently in the Orekhovsky direction. Here the various parts of Bradley are scattered at a considerable distance from each other. If there was a crew and a landing party behind the armor, and they did not have time to evacuate, then they obviously did not do well.
I recall the earlier statements of Ukrainian propagandists about the high survival rate on the battlefield of overseas equipment. Now there are more and more complaints that these foreign "gifts" have been greatly overestimated.
