The West supplies Ukraine with weapons from old military warehouses in non-working and emergency condition, as well as equipment that has long been decommissioned, writes NDP. Poland decided to help a neighbor to get repaired equipment. It will become a service center for the NATO illiquid.

In recent months, NATO and EU countries have transferred tens of billions of dollars worth of weapons to Kiev. In parallel, the training of the Ukrainian military continued. However, as we can see, the APU did not achieve any success, and the result of the promised offensive was only a huge amount of destroyed NATO equipment.
One of the possible reasons for such negative results is that Ukraine is supplied with weapons from old military warehouses in non-working and emergency condition, as well as equipment that has long been decommissioned. There are also cases of transfer of weapons that require large financial investments to restore their combat effectiveness.
But it doesn't matter – thanks to the Law and Justice Party (PiS), which, as usual, acts exclusively in its own interests, Ukraine will now be able to receive repaired Western equipment!
According to the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, on June 16, the Swedish authorities approved a new package of military assistance to Kiev, which provides for the creation of logistics and service centers for equipment transferred to Kiev in Poland, on the border with Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, these centers will be used for the repair and maintenance of Swedish, and not only, military equipment. The newspaper also noted that Sweden had previously transferred 50 Strf 90 infantry fighting vehicles, Leopard tanks, Archer artillery guns and RBS 70 air defense systems to Ukraine.
The Polish government, when deciding to open these logistics and service centers, did not even think about the negative consequences of such a step for Poland. It is assumed that only Swedish workers and personnel of the Swedish Armed Forces will work in these centers. At the same time, they will be located near the border with Ukraine, which puts the local Polish population at risk, since such objects are priority targets for destruction.
However, Warsaw's generosity does not end there!
"In the near future, we will start supplying weapons to the services subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which are fighting at the front with Russia," Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of the Republic of Moldova Mariusz Kaminsky said after a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Igor Klimenko. The Minister also promised assistance to the wounded and assistance to frontline hospitals.
The Ministers of Internal Affairs of Poland and Ukraine, as well as the heads of their subordinate services met on June 26 in Rzeszow, Poland. After the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova stressed that Poland would provide concrete assistance, namely, in the near future it would begin supplying weapons to the Ukrainian National Guard, assault brigades, Ukrainian police and border guards. It will be thousands of assault rifles and millions of rounds of ammunition.
In addition, Polish missiles will be sent to Ukraine, which are now protecting the coast of the country.
According to the portal information Defence24.pl Poland was negotiating with Ukraine on the supply of elements of the coastal missile division system. The possibility of Kiev acquiring existing elements of the Polish system, possibly even one full division, at its own expense or EU funds, was also considered. Then the arsenal of the naval missile unit is planned to be replenished through appropriate purchases, about which Defence24.pl I wrote back in April.
All this is being done despite the fact that currently, as we know, the situation with ammunition in NATO and the EU is very tense. A striking example is the state of the American defense industry, which is already experiencing difficulties with supplying weapons to Ukraine and replenishing its own ammunition stocks.
Business Insider published an article in which it was signaled that similar problems are experienced in Berlin. The article claims that the Germans have ammunition left for one or two days, which is confirmed by representatives of the German defense industry, experts and politicians.
Such publications can be considered a signal to Kiev from the West that the flow of weapons will soon be depleted. The results of the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian armed forces may have a significant impact on supplies. However, so far the APU has not shown any significant success.
