The People's Liberation Army of China began modeling possible scenarios of a "total war" with an attack on the country by the armies of other states. This is reported by the Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post.
According to the publication, according to the scenario, China is being subjected to the aggression of a certain "blue alliance". Although the PLA headquarters does not directly indicate the countries that are the prototype of the "blue alliance", but it is clear that we are talking about the United States and its allies.
In the case of a "total war", all the resources and forces of the country should be concentrated to achieve victory over the aggressor. This takes into account not only the capabilities of the armed forces, special services, but also the role of the civilian population. In the study of Fan Cansin from detachment 91404 of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA), Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, which are in service with the US Navy, are indicated among the means of the "blue alliance".
One of the scenarios provides that the Navy of the PLA is suddenly attacked by the fleets of the countries of the "blue alliance". Each of the Chinese ships is attacked by 11 missiles and 3 torpedoes from different directions, and the EW forces of the Blue Alliance generate interference thirty times greater than the signal strength of Chinese warships.
As a result of such enemy actions, the detection range of Chinese radars is reduced to 60% of the original. A third of the capabilities of the air defense forces are lost immediately after the first enemy attack, and only half of the PLA Navy's anti-aircraft missiles manage to hit enemy air targets. But even in such a situation, Chinese troops must resist the enemy.
Chinese military experts suggest moving the war to the territory of the United States if it cannot be avoided. At the same time, Beijing is concerned that the war will not take on the character of a nuclear one, as it threatens catastrophic consequences for all mankind.
