The armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the first time struck military targets of the Kiev regime militants with the help of a heavy attack drone S-70 "Hunter"
According to the Telegram channel Mash with reference to the Turkish press, the S-70 strike drone was allegedly used to launch airstrikes on the AFU facilities located in the Sumy region.

The S-70 Hunter heavy attack drone made its first flight in 2019. According to sources, the weight of the drone is about 20 tons. The wingspan of the device is 19 meters, the maximum declared flight range is 6 thousand kilometers, while the Hunter is capable of speeds up to 1400 km / h. The drone is capable of carrying guided aerial bombs, missiles, as well as free-falling bombs in its internal compartments and on external suspension units.
According to the forecast of the military observer of the American portal 19FortyFive, Peter Suchiu, announced in August 2022, the Russian army, which is increasingly using drones in the special operation zone in Ukraine, will begin using the S-70 Hunter during 2023.
It was also reported that it was planned to establish the production of hulls for heavy drones of this type at the facilities of the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V. P. Chkalov. For this purpose, the modernization of the enterprise's equipment was carried out. The heavy attack drone S-70 "Hunter" has been developed by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation since 2012.
