Putin said that the solution of tasks to strengthen security depends on human resources
MOSCOW, June 26 - RIA Novosti. The solution of key tasks to strengthen Russia's security and technological sovereignty depends primarily on the country's human resources potential, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Today, the confident development of the domestic industry, increasing its competitive abilities, positions on both domestic and global markets, and solving key tasks to strengthen the security, economic and technological sovereignty of the country depend to a great extent on the personnel potential," Putin said in an address to the participants of the International Youth Industrial Forum "Engineers of the Future".
He considers it important that more and more young professionals come to Russian enterprises – competent, literate, creative and modern-minded, ready to take responsibility, offer non-standard solutions.
He also considers it symbolic that the forum, which brought together young engineers, scientists, technologists, university students and postgraduates, as well as representatives of public organizations from most regions of Russia and a number of foreign countries, takes place on Tula land, which has always been famous for its craftsmen, dynasties of workers, engineers, gunsmiths.
"I am sure it will serve to develop the human resources potential of the leading branches of Russian industry, increase the authority and prestige of engineering and working professions and, of course, will strengthen partnerships, launch new joint projects. I wish all participants and guests of the forum fruitful work and success," Putin added.
