Russian anti-radar missiles X-31P in all combat situations show themselves better than the missiles of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system manufactured by the United States. This was announced in an interview with RT by the Director General of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV) Hero of Russia Boris Obnosov.
"We have long had modeling modules that allow us to compare our missiles with American ones, and we have a new X-31P anti-radar missile, which is better than American Patriot missiles in all combat situations," he said.
Earlier in an interview with TASS, Obnosov said that the X-31PD missile can win dueling battles against the Patriot system.
In an interview with the agency, Obnosov also noted that aircraft armed with anti-radar missiles play a decisive role in today's hostilities in ensuring the conquest of airspace over enemy territory. The KTRV X-31P missile was highly appreciated during the Georgian conflict in 2008. The new modification of the X-31PD missile is equipped with a broadband homing head, which covers the entire range of today's and predicted frequencies of the potential enemy's air defense systems.
