KRONSTADT, June 22. /tass/. Foreign customers, observing the confrontation of Russian military equipment with Western weapons, have the opportunity to objectively assess the effectiveness of its use during a special military operation. This was stated to TASS by the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS of Russia).
"It should be borne in mind that we offer products that have been tested in real combat conditions in Syria and Ukraine. Foreign customers, we can say, online can watch the duel of Russian-made equipment with foreign samples, compare their combat characteristics and effectiveness of use, evaluate combat stability and maintainability in the field. All this increases the interest of prospective customers in both naval equipment and Russian military products in general," the FSVTS said.
They noted that Russia is one of the few countries in the world that offers almost the entire range of naval weapons, including submarines, patrol ships, corvettes, amphibious missile and patrol boats, raid and base minesweepers, physical field control vessels.
"The Federal Customs Service of Russia, together with interested organizations and enterprises, is constantly working to expand the geography of our international cooperation in the field of naval technology, and one of the important tools for this is the International Naval Salon - 2023," the organization stressed.
The FSVTS reported that during the work of the salon, Russian enterprises will demonstrate to visitors their products that reflect the basic needs of the modern market of naval equipment. The ship's anti-aircraft missile and artillery complex "Pantsir-ME", the ship's radar complexes "Zaslon" and "Mineral-ME", the coastal missile complex "Rubezh-ME", surface ships and submarines, as well as other weapons for the navy will be presented.
The International Naval Salon - 2023 takes place in Kronstadt from June 21 to 25. The event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. For the first time, the venue was the Museum of Naval Glory and the Convention and Exhibition Center on the territory of the tourist and recreational cluster "Island of Forts". The exposition of shipbuilding and shipbuilding industries brought together more than 250 leading Russian and foreign participants. TASS is a strategic media partner of the salon.
