The network has published footage showing the evacuation of one of the German Leopard 2A6 tanks with the help of the Bergepanzer 3 BREM supplied by the Ukrainian army from Canada. Apparently, the tank hit a mine during a large-scale offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye direction.
The tank caught on video is one of those damaged in the Southern sector of the front, which the Ukrainian militants still managed to evacuate from the battlefield. The bulk of the damaged military equipment, a significant part of which was supplied to Ukraine by Western allies, remained on the battlefield, where it was either destroyed or fell among the trophies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian troops have regained full control in the area of the settlement of Makarovka. This makes it possible for Russian troops to exercise full fire control over the terrain adjacent to the height and conduct fire corrected with the help of thermal imaging cameras, which significantly complicates the attempts of the Kiev regime militants to advance.
During the past day, several attempts of offensive actions were made by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Orekhovsky and other directions of the southern section of the line of contact, but all of them were stopped.
The losses of the Ukrainian army during a week of large-scale offensive operations amounted to more than 160 tanks and 360 armored vehicles. In addition, the AFU lost more than 12,500 of its servicemen.
