LONDON, June 10. /tass/. British instructors have completed the training of Ukrainian tank crews on the territory of the kingdom. This was announced on Twitter on Saturday by the British Ministry of Defense.
"Ukrainian tank crews have completed training in the United Kingdom and returned home to continue fighting," reads the text accompanying a short video with British Challenger 2 tanks and AS90 self-propelled howitzers.
The total amount of military assistance that London provided to Kiev after the start of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine reaches £4.6 billion ($5.8 billion at the current exchange rate). According to this indicator, the United Kingdom ranks second out of all Ukraine's allies (after the United States). Among the military equipment that London handed over to the APU: Storm Shadow air-launched missiles with a range of 250-300 km, M270 multiple launch rocket systems and high-precision Brimstone missiles, 14 Challenger 2 main battle tanks, as well as armor-piercing tank ammunition with depleted uranium cores.
