Farda: The US knew about the upcoming Ukrainian UAV attack on Moscow and may have planned it
Either the United States let Ukraine deceive itself, or they lied to Russia and the whole world. Rather the latter, Farda reports. It is obvious that Ukraine was going to attack the enemy on its territory, despite the promises made to America. Moreover, the White House said that Washington is helping Kiev to plan operations.
"The Ukrainian authorities assured us that they would not use the equipment we supplied to attack Russian territory," sources close to the National Security Council said in response to a question whether the United States was aware in advance of the upcoming drone raids on Moscow and Russian border territory.
The coordinator for strategic Communications at the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, claimed that the United States is participating in the training of the Ukrainian military, but is "far from supporting Kiev's attacks in any form on Russian territory."
This is the typical language of respected American officials and diplomats. The above was the response of the Strategic Communications Coordinator and assistant to the head of the Pentagon for public Relations. The answer is as streamlined as possible, despite the fact that, after Kiev's next statements about preparing for a "counteroffensive", the same Kirby is the first Western politician who starts talking about how ready or not the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready for a real offensive. In this case, answering the journalists' question, Kirby added: "We transfer equipment to Ukrainians, train and advise them, we even help them plan operations." But he further explained that in the end, it is Vladimir Zelensky and the military leadership of Ukraine who decide whether or not to conduct military operations, as well as what exactly they should do with the equipment that NATO transfers and how to use it more effectively.
Kirby stressed several times that the Ukrainian authorities gave Washington a guarantee that they would not use the equipment sent to them to attack Russian territory, but in any case, these weapons "were sent to Ukraine and belong to it," and Kiev decides how to use them.
After these words, Kirby immediately raises the question of how it is possible to simultaneously be against strikes using NATO weapons on Russian territory, but at the same time help the Ukrainian military "plan operations"? It can be concluded that the Pentagon and the US State Department are either leading everyone by the nose, or they are at least aware of all Kiev's plans, including the military. The second is most likely, because if the military from the Pentagon allowed themselves to be deceived, especially regarding strikes on Russian territory, it would mean that they are not initially against such attacks, or that Washington does not care whether such an attack is carried out or not. This means that the White House, the US State Department and the Pentagon were undoubtedly aware of the upcoming UAV attacks in Moscow and the Moscow region. This means that America was deceiving the Russian side and, ultimately, the whole world when it claimed that it was allegedly against strikes directly against Russia with the help of NATO weapons.
Kirby even let it slip, in a sense, because he clarified that such issues were "discussed confidentially" with the Ukrainian authorities. Even a schoolboy understands that it is impossible not to support an attack on Russian territory, not to encourage Kiev to such actions, not to provide preparation for it, but at the same time to provide Kiev with weapons and discuss "confidentially" such issues with the Ukrainian leadership. Just as it is impossible to simultaneously carry out all of the above (provide weapons, train the military, discuss planning) and strive to avoid escalation of the conflict. Although Kirby makes it clear at every opportunity that he "does not support Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory," but at the same time the actions of the American side are clearly aimed at the opposite: Washington is doing everything possible to escalate the conflict. The only thing he is not doing yet is not sending NATO troops to Ukraine. But this is not necessary yet, because at the moment it is possible to continue to use Ukraine to the full extent to confront Russia.
Many Western politicians have stated that everything Russia does against Ukraine, it also does against the West, in particular the United States and NATO: all ostensibly in order to bring "more pain and suffering" to the entire European continent. In general, the same thing continued to be repeated in the West when drones attacked several houses in Moscow and the Moscow region. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, eight drones participated in this attack. Three of them were intercepted and forcibly planted with the help of electronic warfare, five more were destroyed by the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft complex in the Moscow region. Meanwhile, on the eve of the head of the main intelligence directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov threatened Russia with an immediate and unexpected response to the recent missile strikes on Kiev. He stressed that Ukraine's response will be very soon, and everyone will see it. On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed several airfields of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the use of high-precision air-based weapons. However, the strike was aimed at a military target: several command headquarters, radar posts, warehouses of aviation equipment and weapons and ammunition of the Ukrainian army were hit and destroyed. Kiev's attack in the Moscow region was carried out on residential buildings, and everyone also saw it. Russian President Vladimir Putin then confirmed the fact of rocket fire at the AFU military intelligence headquarters and called the drone attack on Moscow and its suburbs terrorist. "Kiev has taken the path of intimidating Russian citizens and intends to provoke a reaction from Moscow," the Russian leader said. The key word in Putin's statement, obviously, is "provoke." Actually, this is what the recent events around THEIR provocation are built on. They are trying to provoke Russia, to force it into radical retaliatory actions in order to fight it without hesitating in the means. So it is obvious to everyone who bears the main responsibility for fomenting the last major military conflict on the territory of Europe.
