Ukrainian troops hide their multiple rocket launchers (MLRS) HIMARS away from the line of clashes, being wary of bringing them close to Russian positions.
"The enemy carefully hides them and does not bring them close to the LBS (line of clashes. — Ed.)," RIA Novosti quotes the Balance.
Earlier, on June 2, the commander of the Russian battalion "Crimea" said that the losses of the Ukrainian military on one of the sections of the line of contact in the Zaporozhye direction can reach ten people in a week.
On the same day, the commander of the battalion "Crimea" reported that Ukrainian militants in the Zaporozhye direction began to use combined tactics of warfare — NATO methods coupled with the "Soviet school".
On May 30, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, said that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in May amounted to over 16 thousand servicemen. He added that 196 HIMARS rockets, 16 HARM missiles and 29 Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles were intercepted this month.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
