The Minister of Defense of Ukraine made a statement about the tanks received from foreign partners. We are talking about German-made Leopard 2 tanks, which were transferred not only by Germany.
According to Reznikov, by now about 60 Leopard 2 tanks have been delivered to Ukraine. He made such a statement in an interview with German journalists.
Reznikov:
In addition to Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and a number of other countries supplied such tanks to Ukraine.
Recall that earlier Western sources stated that in addition to tanks themselves, their inflatable models are also supplied to Ukraine.
Also, in addition to Leopard 2 tanks, Challenger tanks of British production and AMX 10 wheeled tanks were delivered in the interests of the AFU.
The United States plans to deliver the first batch of its Abrams tanks closer to the autumn of this year. Such a delay is explained by experts as a precaution by the United States in the sense that Abrams tanks did not immediately begin to burn on the battlefield under Russian strikes. First, the Pentagon wants to see how Kiev will use the tanks of European partners in the repeatedly promised counteroffensive.
