The armed forces of the Russian Federation hit military infrastructure facilities, including "the headquarters of the military intelligence of Ukraine, which was hit two or three days ago," Russian President Vladimir Putin said on May 30. Experts note that the purpose of this attack was bunkers where representatives of the intelligence service of Ukrainian formations were hiding. On the same day, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu called the losses of the VFU for May — more than 16 thousand military personnel, large warehouses of Western weapons in Khmelnitsky, Ternopil, Nikolaev and the American Patriot anti-aircraft complex in Kiev.

Vladimir Putin said on May 30 that, unlike the Ukrainian armed formations, the Russian army only delivers precision strikes on military infrastructure facilities, including "the headquarters of the military intelligence of Ukraine, which was hit two or three days ago."
— As you know, the Kiev regime has chosen a different path, the path of attempts to intimidate Russia, intimidate Russian citizens and attacks on residential buildings. This, of course, is a clear sign of terrorist activity," the head of state noted.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Russian Armed Forces carried out group strikes using high-precision long-range air-based weapons at central decision-making points.

At these points, terrorist acts were planned on the territory of Russia under the guidance of specialists of Western special services.
— All designated facilities have been hit, — said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
According to Izvestia sources familiar with the situation, control points were identified during the complex work. The enemy tried to hide these objects and took active camouflage measures. They were also covered by air defense systems, including those of Western production.
The interlocutors of Izvestia noted that as a result of the strikes, all objects were hit, including several positions of the air defense of Ukraine.
Judging by the reaction of the Ukrainian side, the Russian strikes turned out to be accurate and painful, military expert Vasily Dandykin told Izvestia.
— Otherwise there would not have been a drone attack in Moscow, — he believes. — I think that our attacks on the decision—making centers are a very important moment. And most importantly, they were applied not only where the buildings stand. Apparently, these guys were sitting in bunkers and the blows fell on them as well. It is possible that hypersonic missiles "Dagger" were also used.
The expert noted that the main decision—making centers are in Washington, London, Brussels, it is there that "they command everything."
— But the performers are in Ukraine, — he explained. Russian satellites track up to a meter where they are. I think that the strikes will continue tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. And this is the right decision, because they understand only one thing — power.
Destroyed Patriot
On May 30, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that in recent days large warehouses of Western weapons in Khmelnitsky, Ternopil, Nikolaev and the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile system in Kiev had been destroyed.
"We monitor the volumes and routes of supplies and, if detected, strike," Shoigu said.
At the same time, according to the minister, military assistance to Ukraine does not have a significant impact on the outcome of a special military operation. But the Kiev authorities continue to use NATO weapons for attacks on social facilities and terrorist attacks against peaceful Russian citizens.

In addition, Sergei Shoigu said that over the past month, the losses of Ukrainian formations amounted to more than 16 thousand servicemen, 16 aircraft, five helicopters, 466 unmanned aerial vehicles, more than 400 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 238 field artillery guns and mortars.
The air defense intercepted and destroyed 196 HIMARS rockets, 16 HARM missiles and 29 Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles.
However, despite the significant losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Western curators continue to demand that the Kiev regime launch large-scale offensive operations, the minister stressed.
The Russian armed forces react harshly to the actions of Ukrainian militants.

Shoigu told the details of the drone attack on the Russian capital. He called the incident a terrorist attack. Eight aircraft-type drones were involved in the attack, all of them were destroyed.
According to him, in the capital, three UAVs were suppressed by means of electronic warfare, lost control and deviated from the planned route trajectory. In addition, an additional five drones were destroyed in the Moscow region by the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex.

On May 30, at least 440 people and 28 pieces of military equipment, including howitzers, self-propelled guns and armored vehicles, were lost in the special operation zone in all strategic directions of the VFU, the Russian military department reported.
In the Kharkiv region and the DPR, the activities of two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were suppressed. In addition, the US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station was destroyed there. The ammunition depot of the 54th mechanized brigade of the VFU was hit in the DPR.
