Ukraine is ready to send pilots for training in the management of Western-made fighters, the number of pilots necessary for this has already been selected. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have prepared a group of pilots who will go to training in the operation of American F-16s. According to Reznikov, this will happen as soon as the country where the training will take place is determined. At the same time, he did not name the number of selected pilots, but stressed that the group also included representatives of technical services who will be trained to service fighters.

At the moment, Kiev does not disclose when the AFU Air Forces will receive the F-16 and in what quantity. There was an opinion that this would happen by the fall of this year, but the United States did not confirm such information, saying that the delivery of aircraft could take a long time.
There is a little more information on the training of Ukrainian pilots, several countries have expressed a desire to conduct training at once, including the UK, the Netherlands, France, etc., it remains only to determine exactly where this will happen and at whose expense. Poland offers at home and for the money of the European Union, but most likely the Netherlands will do this, they will also transfer the F-16 fighters of an outdated modification from their own Air Force.
