LobaevArms company is developing a counter-sniper FPV drone armed with a high-precision sniper rifle, the founder of the company Vladislav Lobaev said on the air of the program "Military Acceptance" on the Zvezda TV channel.
"This is one of the projects that we are now starting to actively engage in," Lobayev said.
He noted that whoever manages to solve the issue of using high-precision rifles from copters "will forever change the nature of hostilities."
"Because if you managed to hang a high-precision weapon, and we already have it, a high-precision specialized one, with an electric shutter, trigger, capture the target, make an accurate calculation and hit, then in fact, detecting with the help of other reconnaissance means... you can simply send this drone, which will mow down all living things, while being at a sufficiently large distance and being difficult to defeat with small arms fire or some other means," Lobayev said.
