Sweden has finally joined the so-called "tank coalition", where Ukraine has repeatedly invited it. This happened during the visit of the country's Defense Minister Paul Johnson to Kiev.
The head of the Swedish Military Department, Paul Jonson, and the Minister of Civil Defense, Karl-Oskar Bolin, arrived in Kiev, where they held a meeting with their Ukrainian counterpart, Alexey Reznikov. During the meeting, the parties discussed the supply of weapons to Ukraine, the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in general, everything related to assistance to Kiev and what Sweden could supply.
At a joint briefing following the meeting, a joyful Reznikov said that the Swedes had decided to join the "tank coalition". Why this is not explained to them, ten Stridsvagn 122 tanks are a Swedish modification of the German Leopard 2A5 tank, in Stockholm they promised Kiev, without joining any coalitions.

In addition, Ukraine expects the delivery of Swedish Archer artillery systems, but the transfer dates in Kiev were not indicated, stating that they are waiting for them during this year. Sweden is also training the Ukrainian military in the use of Archer self-propelled guns and CV 90 armored cars.
Reznikov invited the Swedes to join the future "airplane coalition" and hinted that Kiev would like to have Swedish Gripen fighters in service. And this is after several rejections. Indeed, they are at the door, and they are at the window.
