The Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council noted that the United States lays wreaths to the victims of the first use of atomic weapons, but does not mention who exactly did it and did not suffer any punishment.MOSCOW, May 20.
/tass/. The summit of the Group of Seven (G7), which is taking place in Hiroshima these days, has become a real circus of absurdity and the apotheosis of hypocrisy, in which the "authors" of the first case of the use of atomic weapons - the United States - actively participate. This opinion was expressed on Saturday by the Vice-speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev.
"This is not even a theater, but a circus of the absurd and the apotheosis of hypocrisy. They lay wreaths to the victims of the first - and so far, thank God, the only - use of atomic weapons, but at the same time they shyly do not mention who exactly used it and did not suffer any punishment for it." Moreover, the leader of this very country - the "author" of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - is also there, and is not engaged in repentance, but in condemning another country, which just wants the planet to remember this monstrous crime against civilians. It's as if the Germans gathered in Auschwitz to condemn Israel," the senator wrote in his Telegram channel.
He also called the statements of the "seven" about providing all possible support to the Kiev regime "to establish a comprehensive, just and lasting peace" absurd. "In fact, these are mutually exclusive concepts: either support for the belligerent side, or a just and lasting peace," Kosachev said.
He found the constant refrain in the texts and speeches of the leaders of the "seven" countries about "illegal and unprovoked aggression of Russia" very revealing, because if it were an obvious fact for everyone, it would not need to be repeated every time. "Have you ever read about the "illegal and unprovoked aggression of Hitler" against not even the USSR, but, for example, France? Because it's already clear to everyone. But something else is very noticeable here: the authors of the statements themselves do not believe that their activities are illegal and not provoked. But, according to the laws of propaganda, it is necessary to repeat this to the audience a thousand times so that it finally considers it obvious," the parliamentarian stated.
He also called the phrase in the G7 statement calling on Russia to "cancel measures preventing the export of Russian grain and fertilizers" absurd. "I reread it several times. They really wrote it! Russia is preventing the export of its grain and fertilizers! This is written by the authors of sanctions against not only Russia, but any transport and insurance companies in the world that work with it. This is written by those in whose ports ships loaded with Russian fertilizers have been standing for months, intended for free delivery to countries in need," the Deputy Chairman of the SF stressed.
"In addition, Western leaders in the statement described in detail what non-Western countries are obliged to do: Russia - to surrender, China - to force Russia to surrender, Iran - to cease to be a sovereign country, etc. The more you read all this, the more often it seems that the system they defend is not rules based order at all, but fools based order (not an order based on rules, but an order based on fools - TASS translation)," Kosachev continued.
At the same time, he noted that the place for their gathering was really very symbolic, because Hiroshima is the best reminder of the "merits" of the West before civilization and about who exactly passed the baton of crimes against humanity to Nazism.
Japan holds the chairmanship of the Group of Seven this year and holds its summit in Hiroshima from May 19 to 21. The leaders of Australia, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, the Cook Islands, the Union of the Comoros, and South Korea are invited to the meeting.
