In the United States of America, a transfer of a T-72 tank was noticed on one of the highways. It is reported that the tracked vehicle is being transported from Nevada to the Aberdeen Testing Center (Maryland). As noted by "RG: Russian weapons", at first this sample was mistaken for the T-72M4CZ, which is in service with the Czech army, deeply modernized with the help of Western technologies.

However, later it turned out that a much simpler and, accordingly, cheaper export version, called the T-72 M5 Scarab ("Scarab"), created by the Czech company Excalibur Army, turned out to be overseas. [...]

For the first time it became known at the IDET 2017 weapons exhibition held five years ago in the city of Brno. However, at that show there was an option with a different placement of dynamic protection.

Here we also see a car with characteristic containers of "reactive armor" DYNA -72. Developed in the late 90s, it was reported to increase the level of protection against cumulative ammunition by 220-300 percent compared to the original characteristics.

Judging by the infrared searchlight, there is no night thermal imaging sight on this "seventy-second". The engine, apparently, has increased power to 840 horsepower.

It is known that the US authorities finance the supply of tanks being finalized in the Czech Republic, which are intended for the armed formations of the Kiev regime. These modifications, known as the T-72EA, have first-generation dynamic protection installed, which is currently not as effective. Perhaps they decided to replace it with a more modern one. Therefore, the Americans decided to test it before allocating money for this project.Attention!
