Earlier, the Algerian media reported that by the summer of 2023, the country will have two Be-200ES, and in the future, two more aircraft will replenish the fleet. The amphibious aircraft will be piloted by Algerian crews who have completed a training course in Russia, and the machines will be serviced by technical specialists who have also studied in Russia. One of the photos shows two Be-200 aircraft, from which it can be concluded that two machines have already been delivered and are being mastered by Algerian pilots – crews are training in the Mediterranean Sea.
Algeria pays attention to the versatility of the Be-200, it is planned to use it both for maritime search and rescue operations and for the transportation of personnel or cargo.
