A selection of videos appeared on the network, which captured the moments of destruction by the forces of the Russian PMCs "Wagner" using Lancet barrage ammunition of artillery systems of the Ukrainian army in the area of Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
As can be seen in the published footage, successful hits of the Lancets destroyed several Polish 155 mm Krab self-propelled guns, 155 American-made M777 howitzer, as well as 220 mm MLRS "Bureviy", which is a Ukrainian modification of the Soviet BM-27 "Hurricane" MLRS system.
As a result of some hits, a secondary detonation of ammunition occurred, as a result of which Ukrainian militants who were near military equipment were destroyed.
According to a number of military experts, the Russian Lancet barrage munition significantly surpasses its Western counterpart, the American Switchblade-600 barrage munition, in a number of characteristics.

The Lancet is often used in conjunction with the Orlan reconnaissance drone, with the help of which targets are determined, subsequently hit by barrage ammunition. Often, with the help of "Lancets", the air defense systems available to the AFU, supplied by the West, are destroyed, which makes it possible for Russian aviation to strike at the positions of Ukrainian troops with the help of FABS with UMPC.
