The speaker of the US Command in Europe and Africa, Martin O'Donnell, said that Ukraine has already received more than 600 types of weapons to carry out the planned counteroffensive. According to him, the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet used all the samples of weapons.

At the same time, the American colonel clarified, each of the types of weapons requires ammunition for air defense in order to ensure the safety of the airspace during the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

It should be noted that at the end of April, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced the sending of 1,550 armored vehicles, 230 tanks and a large amount of ammunition to Ukraine from the allies.
By the way, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken highly appreciated the readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for a counteroffensive, believing that Kiev has all the necessary weapons to "return its territories."
Earlier, the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the final plan of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not yet been approved.
