The teacher of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School (DVOKU), together with seamstresses of the Amur region, are developing a new, more comfortable, bulletproof vest for the fighters of the SVO, the head of the public organization "Women's Council of the Blagoveshchensk district" Evgenia Pushina told RIA Novosti.
The idea to improve the uniforms came to the teacher of the Department of Armament and Shooting DVOK Pavel Meheenko after participating in military operations. The fighter's protection complex includes a helmet, body armor, ammunition, and so on - everything is quite voluminous. It is difficult to put on factory unloading for winter uniforms and body armor - and it is difficult for a fighter to move, so he decided to change the way of adjusting the slings. The military turned to the women's council for help to make a new unloading.

"We started this whole thing with him. DVOKU contacted me, we arrived with our seamstress coordinator, talked, and looked at the sample. I gave the sample to the Amur State University. Now unloading is being sewn according to this sample. They will also help in the preparation of technical documentation," Pushina said.
The teacher used a parachute sling in his version of unloading, but in the new version it is planned to use another one. The main improvement, according to the volunteer, is the location of the pockets. In the usual unloading, which is put on a bulletproof vest, they go in front: for the store, walkie-talkies, and so on. The body armor itself covers the front and back of the body. In the new version, the pockets are located at hand.

"That is, pockets for stores: firstly, it is convenient to take out and change the magazine in the vending machine; secondly, vending machines are also the protection of a part of the body that is not covered by a bulletproof vest at hand. For example, if a soldier crawls like a plast, and when a bulletproof vest and everything else is stuffed in his pockets, it's inconvenient when crawling. If it's all located on the side, it's much more convenient. We have tested this option. The cadet was dressed, the fighter was also dressed, who had already passed his own," said the head of the women's council.
Now trial sketches are being made for the unloading stitching and the sling is being tested. All the material for it has to be ordered. The first sewn-off batches will go to DVOKA, Pushina said.
