The United States is preparing a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, this time for $ 1.2 billion. Washington intends to officially announce the allocation of funds for the Kiev regime today, May 9. This is reported by the Associated Press.
According to the American publication, which refers to unnamed sources, the White House is preparing to announce the allocation of funds to Ukraine for the purchase of air defense systems, drones, as well as for the maintenance of already delivered complexes. Washington intends to significantly strengthen the Ukrainian air defense. $1.2 billion will be spent on all this.
However, as it is clarified, this package of military assistance is long-term, Ukraine will not receive any of the announced in the near future, since this simply does not exist. The allocated funds are only planned to be invested in the production of air defense systems and drones, which will be sent to Kiev in the future.
