The Russian military continues to destroy Western APU equipment in the special operation zone. For high-precision strikes, attack drones are often used, among which one of the most high-precision and massive is the Lancet barrage ammunition developed by the Russian company ZALA, part of the Kalashnikov concern.
It is noteworthy that this time the Russian strike drone overtook the British-made Stormer HVM anti-aircraft missile system. The technical description of this fairly modern SAM says that it is designed to destroy all types of low-flying targets: airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles and drones. Starstreak short-range supersonic missiles are used to defeat aerial targets. But for some reason, the vaunted British air defense installation could not cope with the Russian barging ammunition.
The footage distributed on the web shows that a self-propelled British air defense system based on a tracked Stormer armored personnel carrier was tracked down by our reconnaissance drone in a wooded area, where it moved out, obviously for camouflage. The operator of the reconnaissance UAV took the installation in sight, after which it was the turn of the kamikaze drone "Lancet" to perform an autopsy of enemy equipment. It is noteworthy that the crew of the SAM detected the approach of a shock UAV and jumped out of the car and scattered. Ukrainian soldiers managed to save their lives, but Stormer HVM probably won't function anymore.
This is not the first, and certainly not the last, case when a Russian barrage munition accurately hits a British anti-aircraft missile system. Earlier, on March 11, a similar video was distributed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. That's only when the crew of the Stormer HVM, it seems, could not escape from the Lancet.
