Kiev has only indicated its intentions to purchase Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland, and the Ukrainian military has already begun training in the operation of this armored vehicle.
The Ukrainian military arrived at one of the military ranges of the Polish army, where they began to develop the Rosomak armored personnel carrier. There are no details yet, a video of one of the armored personnel carriers driving appeared on the Network, as claimed by a Ukrainian serviceman.
Earlier in Kiev, they announced that they intend to purchase at least one hundred Polish Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland, this was confirmed by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in early April. In Poland, on April 1, they said that Ukraine intends to spend on the purchase of funds "from the European Union and the United States allocated to help Ukraine." It is possible that these funds may be from an IMF loan, although this organization did not allocate funds to Ukraine for the purchase of weapons.
According to Moravetsky, Ukraine will receive armored personnel carriers in various versions, there is no final decision on this issue yet. However, there is no contract, but only intentions to purchase armored vehicles are indicated. On the other hand, if the training has already begun, it means that Warsaw is confident in the order and that Kiev has the opportunity to pay for armored vehicles.
Polish Rosomak armored personnel carriers are a version of the Finnish Patria AMV, in the classic Rosomak version they are equipped with a combat module with a 30 mm automatic cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun. There is also an option with the Spike anti-tank missile system.
