The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun to transfer units of the 47th separate mechanized brigade to the combat zone. This is reported by military correspondents, citing their own sources.
It is known that the 47th mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been equipped with American-made armored vehicles since the beginning of 2023. First of all, M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles delivered from the USA were transferred to the brigade. Now the brigade is moving to the front already on American armored vehicles.
Earlier it became known that the staffing of the 82nd separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with samples of Western-made military equipment has been completed. This compound received German-made Marder infantry fighting vehicles, American-made Stryker armored vehicles and British Challenger tanks.

According to the military commanders, it is two brigades – the 47th mechanized and the 82nd airborne assault - that will form the basis of the strike group of Ukrainian troops in the upcoming counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

However, a question arises, voiced in the Telegram channel "South Wind", how the AFU rear services plan to carry out repair and maintenance of such a diverse fleet of armored vehicles. After all, spare parts from some armored vehicles will not fit other armored vehicles, and this will create additional difficulties for Ukrainian formations, especially when armored vehicles enter combat operations, when inevitably some vehicles will be disabled. But, on the other hand, the Ukrainian Armed Forces simply have no other options – neither the United States nor European countries can supply Ukrainian formations with a large number of the same military equipment.
