SAM "Tor-M2" destroyed the Ukrainian drone "Fury" in motion, moving away from the shellingLUGANSK, April 29 - RIA Novosti.

The calculation of the anti-aircraft missile system "Tor-M2" of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the ZVO destroyed two Ukrainian drones, one of which had to work in motion, maneuvering because of the enemy's return fire, the commander of the unit with the call sign "Sorcerer" told RIA Novosti.

"We went out to work normally, found an aerial target that was conducting reconnaissance of our units, respectively, reported the parameters and worked on it," said the "Sorcerer".


According to him, the first downed UAV was a "Fury" of Ukrainian production. The second target had to be hit on the move, moving away from the artillery fire of the Ukrainian troops. The rocket was launched in motion, the calculation successfully completed the task, the agency interlocutor said.

"Here another feature of this machine was revealed, which was laid down by the designers. This is a work in motion," the military said.

According to him, the second downed device was similar to the "Fury" reconnaissance UAV.

The Tor-M2 air defense system is designed to repel massive strikes of high-precision weapons. This is the only complex in the world that is guaranteed to hit air targets on the move, which allows you to quickly change position and immediately move away from the enemy's return fire.
