The Stormer HVM air defense installation delivered from England by the armed formations of the Kiev regime was seen near the line of contact. As the project " RG: Russian weapons " notes, the first reports on possible deliveries of such equipment were made public about a year ago. At present, it is known about the transfer of at least six anti-aircraft missile systems.
The SAMs are based on tracked armored personnel carriers FV4333 Stormer. The power of the diesel engine is 250 hp. The maximum speed on the highway is 80 km /h. The power reserve is 650 km. The crew is three people. Combat weight - 13,000 kg.
Eight launch containers are placed on the roof of the combat vehicle, twelve more are inside.
Starstreak or Martlet laser-guided missiles are used as weapons of destruction. The former have warheads of three arrow-like tungsten striking elements, the latter have warheads - fragmentation-cumulative.
The range of destruction is 6000 and 8000 meters, respectively. The passive thermal imaging system on board detects flying helicopters at a range of 8000 meters, aircraft - up to 18,000 meters.
