/tass/. The Slovenian government this week completed a covert operation to send a batch of 20 Valuk armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. This was reported on Wednesday by the Slovenian portal 24ur, citing a source.
According to the portal, the operation to transfer the armored personnel carrier to Kiev lasted several months. The vehicles that have been in service with the Slovenian army for 24 years have undergone technical training. Then they were transferred by transport plane to one of the logistics centers in Slovakia or Poland. The operation was delayed due to the need to use a transport plane to evacuate Europeans from Sudan, but this week the last armored personnel carriers were transferred to Kiev.
The publication claims that these armored vehicles were delivered for use in the counteroffensive announced by Kiev.
