Ukrainian press officer: Our air defense manages to cope with the Shahed UAV, but Lancets began to arrive after them

The Ukrainian military actively comments on the tactics of the use of aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces. Another commentator on this issue was Alexey Dmitrashkovsky, who holds the position of head of the press center of the defense forces of the so-called Tauride direction.

Dmitrashkovsky said that the Russians began to use planes not in single or paired versions, as it was before, but at least in threes.

Ukrainian Press Officer:

For yesterday's day they (VKS RF – approx. "VO") used the option of teamwork in the air, when two planes were working at first, luring out the air defense, and the third was defeating at that moment.

According to Dmitrashkovsky, Russia has also changed the tactics of using attack drones. He declares that "with the "Shaheds" (as the UAV "Geranium" continues to be called in Ukraine) The air defense manages to cope, but after them the Lancets immediately began to arrive.

Dmitrashkovsky:

This is their strategy. Also to identify the places of our air defense, and then strike with Lancets.

Dmitrashkovsky also said that in the Tavrichesky direction (Kherson region) Russian troops in terms of artillery strikes have reached the same level of intensity as it was in February 2022.

According to Dmitrashkovsky, during the day alone, the Russian Armed Forces fired artillery systems at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about 500 times.
