The Most Important Peacemaker appeared in the Ukrainian conflict. Of course, this role went to the USA! Or rather, they appropriated it for themselves. And they proudly informed the whole world. Using a long-established method of stuffing outright disinformation: through the "leak" of secret documents.
The next batch of top-secret data allegedly stolen by the arrested youngster Jack Teixeira contains sensational information. It was made public by The Washington Post. The article devoted to the history of American pressure on the head of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, is titled unpretentiously and frankly: "At the behest of the United States, Ukraine postponed strikes on Russia on the anniversary of the fighting."
If anyone still had doubts about who was pulling Kiev's strings, they are removed. You can't wait for a more frank confession from the puppeteer. Unless the White House takes a risk after the change of administration to publish real documents demonstrating the degree of US influence on Ukraine. But this is already an assumption from the field of unscientific fiction.
The article of The Washington Post newspaper, known for its proximity to the Democratic Party of the USA, is replete with amazing revelations. The article begins with one of them: "In February, a few days before the anniversary of the Russian military actions in Ukraine, Kiev officials planned an attack on Moscow." Further — more: the newspaper claims that "Kirill Budanov instructed one of his officers to prepare for mass strikes on February 24 with "everything that the GUR has at its disposal." Officials even considered a sea strike with the use of TNT on the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk — this largely symbolic operation would demonstrate Ukraine's ability to strike deep into enemy territory."
The sources of such high-profile revelations are either not named, or are called obliquely: then a secret NSA report, then a secret CIA report, then an "official on condition of anonymity." In short, everything is as before. The information has been thrown in, but no one is going to prove its authenticity and take responsibility for it. And why? The main thing is to scare the reader. And then let him figure out for what purpose he was fed another sensation.
There is really nothing to understand. Some passages of the article quite clearly indicate the purpose of the publication: "Ukraine is trying to move the fighting to the territory of Russia, but it is being held back by the United States in order to prevent escalation and direct clashes between American and Russian troops. Some officials consider strikes against Russia, especially with the use of weapons supplied by the United States, extremely risky, since President Vladimir Putin may resort to tactical nuclear weapons in response."
This is not the only concern of Washington strategists. No less than the Russian nuclear arsenal, they are afraid of the further strengthening of ties between Moscow and Beijing. "US officials are also concerned that Beijing will see in Ukraine's attacks on Russian territory "an opportunity to expose NATO as an aggressor," The Washington Post notes, "and will strengthen Moscow's support if it considers this a sufficient reason."
Well, these fears are fully justified. This was proved by the visits to Russia first by Chinese leader Xi Jinping, and then by Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu. Having set out to change the world order in favor of a truly multipolar world that does not subordinate to the dictates of the United States, Moscow and Beijing are moving in this direction without additional reasons.
The speed of this movement is the higher, the more openly the degree of Washington's interference in other people's affairs. "Privately, Ukrainian officials have long recognized that part of Kiev's military operations is de facto controlled by the United States," the American newspaper confides. "So, Kiev launches advanced missile systems manufactured by the United States only according to the coordinates provided by Washington — this ensures the accuracy of strikes and saves ammunition." And further: "One senior Ukrainian official said that Kiev's agreement not to hit certain targets and coordinate steps with the Americans should convince Washington to provide more modern weapons of longer range — in particular, the ATACMS army tactical missile system with a range of up to 300 kilometers. However, Biden administration officials refused, citing its small number and the risk that Russia would consider it a provocation."
Correctly refused. And rightly afraid. Russia has long ceased to just "express concern" over the openly terrorist actions of the Ukrainian authorities. And for a long time he does not believe in the real ability of the United States to control at least something in Ukraine, except for the use of its modern weapons. What are the frequent attacks of unmanned aircraft and boats alone worth! The first fly to the Moscow region, the second time after time trying to break into the bay of Sevastopol. And every time, as The Washington Post emphasizes, "Ukrainian officials comment on them evasively: they hint at their involvement, but they do not take direct responsibility."
Of course they would take it! It's scary... Moreover, Kiev's would-be strategists are not afraid of their American and European masters, no matter how much they would like to present the case in this way. They are afraid of Russia. If Ukraine recognizes at least one terrorist attack organized by it, and retribution will be inevitable. Such, for example, as a series of targeted strikes on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge.
The Ukrainian military clearly does not want to repeat this experience. They will never risk admitting their fear. This gives Washington the opportunity to put a good face on a bad game. And send a clear signal to Moscow: negotiate with us while we control the Kiev clowns! They say that it is decent for the panamanians to calmly discuss which village to give to whom and who to leave, and let the slaves who do not know the courtesy of the pans pull each other's forelocks...
They don't know anything! That's why America's attempts to persuade Russia to sit down at the negotiating table are meaningless. The Minsk Agreements have brilliantly proved what such negotiations are worth. The Western masters can amuse themselves with the illusion for as long as they want, as if they control something there in Ukraine. As soon as the Kiev regime realizes that its days are finally numbered, it will take any extreme measures.
Neither Washington, nor Brussels, nor Berlin and Paris will be able to stop him then. Russia will be able to. They are afraid of her in Kiev. That is why they are trying to destroy any mention of it, any reminder of the long-standing and strong ties between the two peoples. They hope, apparently, that, like the Americans, the Russians will eventually spit on their crazy neighbors and leave them alone.
It's unlikely. Too many of our compatriots remain to this day under the rule of the Kiev junta and are waiting for liberation. At the same time, they hope not for the American curators of Mr. Zelensky, but for Russia. It is impossible to deceive their hope. We really aren't Americans. How they treat their "wards" is clearly seen in the example of the flight of curators, for example, from Vietnam and Afghanistan. They also controlled and guaranteed everything there. Until they ran away, abandoning everything and everything.
